Most job seekers know that adding a new picture to their LinkedIn profile is important. Now that LinkedIn has over 200 million members and is ten years old, most professionals know how to set up a profile and create connections. With ever more recruiters and managers using the website to chase job seekers and prospective employers who search LinkedIn regularly before making decisions about recruiting, it is worth updating your profile to make sure that it does the best for you.
LinkedIn is undoubtedly the social network of job seekers – or even if you don’t look right now. Ninety-two percent of employer employees are employed in social media today, and LinkedIn is Jobvite says the social network they use most.
LinkedIn provides several possibilities to locate work entries.
a). JOB BOARD ON LinkedIn:

You are now at the heart of your LinkedIn homepage. You can find here not only posts that the Pulse function thinks you might be interested in, but also status updates for your connections to the point of this post. Take your time regularly to browse through these updates.
Often you can find recruiters, recruitment managers, or HR personnel who post something like ‘Looking to hire XXX.’
c). LINKEDIN GROUPS:
Up to 100 LinkedIn Groups can be joined at any time. There are classes focused on everything that can be imagined: university students, place, training, work, business, hobbies, etc. Some groups help people look for jobs as well.
Each LinkedIn Group has positions on a chronological basis; recruiters sometimes, in their respective groups — venue, occupation, expertise, industry, etc. – will be posted on the job or employer-related groups.
d). COMPANY PAGES ON LINKEDIN:
There are plenty of company pages on LinkedIn. Enter them in the search bar at the top of the page by typing a business name. Business pages are usually used for branding by employers. That is, they establish as an attractive place of work the best picture of a particular organization as possible. In general, a listing of the open positions at the enterprise is provided or a link to the employees portal for the enterprise on its website for all open positions. In the key Interest menu at the top of LinkedIn, you will find details on companies or search companies.

- SKILLS AND EXPERTISE SECTION:
You’ll find “Skills & Expertise” below experience and education. This feature was introduced in February 2011 by LinkedIn. Take and do it for at least 10 minutes. This segment provides an insight into what prospective employers should do. It also allows your links to “help” you with these qualifications, an option since September 2012.
- GET RECOMMENDATION:
They are read by the recruiters. As in your job review, suggestions should include detailed information on skills and achievements. In the LinkedIn world, it is appropriate to give the individual you are requesting to suggest a recommendation to write. They may appear repetitive and free, they may also be helpful as they are not only displayed on your LinkedIn page, they are also displayed on the suggestion writer page, and all the links are available for you to read.
- INCLUDE WEB LINK TO SHOWCASE YOU WORK AESTHETICS:
